HAPPINESS

When I sat down to write this post I had the intention of venting about my bad week but as I thought about all of the things that happened to me I realized something...

I have way too many things to be happy about then to waste my time on the negative things. My problems are so small compared to so many people that are struggling in our world. Granted I have days where I get out of the car and step into huge puddles of water, or days that I spend searching the house for whatever is causing that horrible smell only to realize we have a dead squirrel in our fireplace...YAY, or wanting to pull out my hair because of other things that stress me out, but I realized I have way too many things to be happy about and too many other things that bring me true happiness then to waste my time dwelling on things that really don't matter and I no longer feel the need to complain. To instead be grateful for what I have. An amazing family, a great job, a car to drive home in at night, a house to come home to, and a wonderful husband who knows me, who really knows me and that makes me happier then I ever thought I could be.

I felt this awesome news deserved its own post!
My sweet husband SURPRISED me on Christmas with the trip of a lifetime to Europe!

DON'T WORRY I DIDN'T GIVE UP!

Do you ever go a while without posting and then all of the sudden so much time has gone by and the thought of posting sounds completely overwhelming? Well, that is about where I am. So I am just going to do one giant catch up post then I will do better because I have too many fun things coming up to put it off.

We went home to Utah for Christmas. I absolutely love going home obviously to see our families and friends but also because it is our home and it feels good to be home. We were there for about 10 days. And it was 10 days of bliss! We got to see everyone we hoped for. And Christmas Day was amazing! We are so lucky to have such great families. We got WAY WAY too spoiled! Here's a recap of our trip!
Ski day at Snow Basin with Harv and Lara...
Skeet shooting with Cody's dad...
We are so hard core! hahaha
Camerons baby blessing...
Me and baby Cameron...
Me wrestling with Drake in my church clothes...
Don't mind the socks, I had boots on...
New Years eve with my brothers Matt and Ben and my sister-in-law McCall. (Lauren was still out of town.) The best part of the night was when McCall popped open the Martinellies and realized they didn't have champagne glasses so we drank out of clear plastic cups. It was funny when we realized it looked like beer. So of course I had to take a few pics of pregnant McCall drinking her "beer"
Me just throwing back hahaha!

AND no pictures from Christmas Day or of Cody's moms festivities!!!! What is wrong with me? The day is always so busy for us running from place to place. We opened presents on Christmas morning with Cody's mom and then she made her famous breakfast. Then we headed to my parents to do Christmas "morning" with my fam and then we headed out to Cody's dads that night. Always fun but it is A LOT of driving. But don't worry its worth it!
