Some people have dogs, some people have cats but me and Cody, we have a squirrel! I have been wanting a dog but I guess I can settle for a pet squirrel for now. (or forever, Cody is allergic to dogs) I never knew how common they were in California until we moved out here. For the first couple of weeks I kept calling them Alvin and Simon and then Cody reminded me that those guys were chipmunks. I was so disappointed. I think it is so cool how they run around in everyones yards and they can run like 900 miles an hour across telephone wires. I found out today that everyone thinks they as are as annoying as rats so I guess the novelty is kind of wearing off.
