We just got home from Cody's family vacation and we had so much fun! Your going to need to stick with me here, I took A LOT of pictures! First we started the trip off by going to Cody's parents vacation home in St. George, then we went down to Newport for the rest of the week.
The first day we spent almost the whole day in the pool. It was so hot! I think the high was 114 degrees!

Spa day! This is me, Brianna, Lauren, Carly, and Sydnee with our happy just got pedicure smiles on. Mar was still getting pampered so she's not in the pic. But we have her to thank for the fun day!
That night everyone went bowling. Syd was pulling a Cody by popping her head into our picture.

On our way down to California we stopped just outside of Vegas so we could go on the DESPERADO ROLLER COASTER. I forgot how scary it was! It has a 225 foot drop and 55 degree decent on the first hill! Good thing we're still alive!

The whole day we saw so many DISNEY characters all over the park and people waiting in line to get there pictures with them. We lucked out no waiting for us. We walked by right when Minnie was coming out.

Later in the week we went to Huntington Beach to the US OPEN surf competition. The waves were huge!!! For sure the biggest I've ever seen. We heard that the life guards usually save on average about 20 people a day and over the weekend they had to rescue about 500 people a day! This picture DOES NOT do justice to how big the waves actually were.

On Saturday Cody's family had to go home. So Cody and I decided to stay the night at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach. We had tons of fun! We went to dinner, hung out at the pool, ate ice cream, and went shopping at Fashion Island. I love hanging out with just me and Cody. And it helped that the hotel was beautiful!
Thanks Mar and Dave for such a fun trip! You guys do so much for us and we love hanging out with you and the fam!!!

How fun! Why are you so dang skinny!? Gain some weight girl! Well anyway, I am glad your life is so happening and fun and especially that at least I can see what you are doing through your blog!
What a fun vacation! We had no idea Cody has a Turkey Dance! He's been holding out on us. Perhaps he can show us at Thanksgiving?

Your families seriously know how to do family vacations! So jealous! :) I absolutely love the photo of you guys on the Tower of Terror. Cody looks like he's trying to be protective while you're both really just terrified! :)
It was so fun to see you last night - sorry we didn't get to talk more! I just talked to Ryan and he mentioned that he and Cody might go surfing this Saturday afternoon, so hopefully us girls can get together! Trenton and I are up for going to the beach or doing really anything!
Fun, Megan. We were in So.Cal last year and went to Fashion Island. I like that mall. Those waves were crazy! I would not like to be one of those life guards.

Seriously how fun! Love all the pics! This is hilarious, but your white shirt with the green/pink flowers reminded me of that white limited shirt we both had that had a pink/green flower on it!! lol oh the funny things to remember!!!
Meg I am in the hotel on my way home to Kansas. I just loved getting a call from you the other day. We were staying in a cabin in the mountains so I barley had service. I can't wait to catch up! Miss your guts!
